Super easy floral crown DIY

As you can tell, we kinda love floral crowns around here. You can make your very own with just a few simple supplies. I know what you're thinking.. "When am I actually going to use this?" Well my friend, we are firm believers in whimsy. I think mine will help me when I'm cleaning house.. Or editing photos. I'm pretty certain that if I had kids, we would start each day making one together.

Now that we've decided they're completely practical out of the way..

Step one:

Gather your supplies. You'll need: flowers of your choice, wire & scissors.

I bought one small bunch at the local grocery, and only ended up using one stem of it. Don't worry, the rest of it is sitting pretty in my favorite huge mason jar.

Step Two:

Cut your flowers off & measure your wire so you can wrap it around your head twice. Wrap it around both strands in the back.

Step Three:

Take your short flowers and wrap wire around them, and the two strands that will go around your head.

Step Four:

Keep wrapping. The beauty of this is you can make it however full you want to. I wanted mine super simple, but I imagine if I was doing this for my engagement photos or wedding day, I'd want it to be pretty full!

Step Five:

Voila! Told you it was easy.

My friend Sarah took this last photo, the end result. (she's pretty fabulous.)

Let me know if you guys have any questions! I'd be happy to help. xo.
